OPI Miss Universe Collection 2013

Buon anno! Vi auguro che il 2014 sia un anno ricco di serenità, novità e tante soddisfazioni!

La Miss Universe 2013 è una mini collezione uscita qualche mese fa e che avevo acquistato su beautybay.com.
OPI aveva già realizzato una collezione dedicata al famoso concorso di bellezza nel 2011. Premettendo che odio cordialmente questo tipo di eventi, la collezione di per sè è carina, soprattutto I'm Feeling Sashy che mi ricorda molto l'irreperibile Parlez Vous OPI? (anche se IFS è una tonalità più calda di lilla).

The OPI Miss Universe 2013 collection has been released a few months ago and I got it on beautybay.com
OPI has already come out with a mini collection dedicated to the famous beauty pageant in 2011. For instance, I politely *hate* these kind of events, but the collection is nice and I particularly like I'm Feeling Sashy that reminds me the   Parlez vous OPI? (IFS, though, is warmer toned).

This Gown Needs A Crown

Due passate, no topcoat. In foto non rende quanto dal vivo, è luccicosissimo, soprattutto alla luce del sole. Il finish è satin, come Orly Au Champagne. Mi sembra una base perfetta per una Ruffian manicure.

Two coats, no topcoat. It's much shimmery and brighter in person, especially in the sun. It's a satin finish, like Orly Au Champagne. I think it makes a perfect base colour for a Ruffian manicure.

Miss You-Niverse
Due passate, no top coat. La formula è molto densa, ma è facile da stendere. Il colore non è il massimo dell'originalità, ricorda molto un altro OPI, Siberian Nights.
 

Two coats, no top coat. The formula is rather thick, but easy to work with. It's not the most unique colour, actually it reminds me OPI Siberian Nights a lot.

I'm Feeling Sashy
Due passate, no topcoat. Bellissima formula coprente ed omogenea, anche se è più liquida rispetto alla formula OPI solita.
Bel colore anche se è diverso da come me lo aspettavo: se dovessi scegliere un solo lilla tra quelli usciti quest'inverno, sceglierei Warm & Toasty Turtleneck

Two coats, no topcoat. Awesome opaque formula, it's runnier than the usual OPI ones.
The colour is nice, though it's not really how I exepected it: if I had to pick just one lilac amongst the ones that came out this winter, I'd pick Warm & Toasty Turtleneck.
